SAN JOSE, CA – Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) today announced the strategic appointment of Amritesh (Amrit) Chaudhuri as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, effective August 14, 2025. This move underscores Calix’s commitment to accelerating its go-to-market strategy and empowering its customers to thrive in the burgeoning artificial intelligence landscape.
Chaudhuri brings over two decades of extensive leadership experience across marketing, product, sales, and revenue operations. Notably, he has spent more than ten years applying AI to cloud and customer experience (CX) transformation initiatives. His distinguished career includes executive roles at prominent technology companies such as Oracle, RingCentral, and 8×8, where he consistently built integrated go-to-market engines that fostered scale, brand leadership, and enduring customer value.
In his new role, Chaudhuri will oversee Calix’s entire go-to-market organization, encompassing corporate, product, field, and partner marketing. He succeeds J. Matthew (Matt) Collins, who previously led the go-to-market and commercial operations teams as Chief Commercial Operations Officer until his passing in May 2025.
This appointment comes at a pivotal time for Calix, as the company prepares for one of the most significant product launches in its 26-year history: the third-generation Calix Broadband Platform. This next evolution builds upon a substantial $2 billion investment spanning 13 years and is set to introduce groundbreaking capabilities. The platform will feature an evolved agentic AI architecture, integrating a legion of AI agents across all Calix solutions. This advancement is designed to provide broadband service providers (BSPs) with unprecedented capacity, accelerating their transformation into broadband experience providers (BXPs).
