Redwood City, CA – July 7, 2025 – C3.ai, Inc. (NYSE: AI) is making significant strides in the generative and agentic artificial intelligence (AI) sector, showcasing robust growth and strategic deployments that underscore its commitment to enterprise AI applications. The company has reported a remarkable year, with its Generative AI business achieving over 100% year-over-year revenue growth in fiscal year 2025.
This momentum is evidenced by 66 initial production deployments of C3 Generative AI across 16 diverse industries within the fiscal year. Key clients leveraging C3.ai’s advanced platforms include the U.S. Navy, Dow, Chanel, and the Shoah Foundation. Notably, the Shoah Foundation is utilizing C3.ai’s platform to digitize and tag 30,000 survivor testimonies, a monumental effort projected to save a decade of manual work and millions in costs.
C3.ai also highlights its claim of holding a patent on agentic AI, with more than 100 solutions already deployed across critical sectors such as defense, manufacturing, and government. Thomas M. Siebel, Chairman and CEO of C3 AI, emphasized the company’s leadership, stating, “The Enterprise AI market is converging toward AI applications — a category we created and continue to lead.” He further noted that fiscal 2025 was a “momentum-building year for C3 AI, achieving 25% revenue growth year-over-year.”
The company’s strategy focuses on pure-play enterprise AI applications, differentiating it from competitors like Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) and Snowflake Inc. (SNOW). While Palantir emphasizes custom deployments and integration flexibility, and Snowflake evolves its cloud data platform into an AI-enabled ecosystem with services like Cortex, C3.ai’s application-first model aims to provide turnkey generative and agentic AI solutions.
Strategic alliances have been a cornerstone of C3.ai’s expansion, including partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, McKinsey QuantumBlack, and a renewed and expanded agreement with Baker Hughes. Recent collaborations further illustrate this growth, such as the June 30, 2025, announcement of a strategic partnership with HII (NYSE: HII), America’s largest military shipbuilder. This collaboration aims to accelerate shipbuilding throughput at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding and Ingalls Shipbuilding divisions through the application of AI. HII CEO Chris Kastner stated, “Increasing shipbuilding throughput is a critical priority for HII and the U.S. Navy,” with Siebel adding that the partnership “underscores our growing role as a strategic provider to the U.S. government and defense sector.” An initial deployment at Ingalls Shipbuilding has already demonstrated significant improvements in schedule performance.
Additionally, C3.ai has developed specialized applications like C3 Generative AI for Government Programs, designed to help federal, state, and local governments provide accurate information to the public about various programs. Siebel commented on this initiative, stating, “Understanding and accessing vital services and benefits programs can be an overwhelming process for many, and C3 Generative AI for Government Programs provides an easy way to get clear and quick answers to questions about the intricacies of these services.”
