The categories span a wide range of applications, including ‘Best application of AI in kids’ entertainment,’ ‘Best application of AI in children’s animation,’ ‘Best application of AI in adult animation,’ ‘Best application of AI in documentary & factual,’ ‘Best application of AI in reality or TV formats,’ ‘Best application of AI in scripted entertainment,’ ‘Best application of AI in visual effects,’ ‘Most compelling use of AI in previsualisation,’ and ‘Best AI technology to support creativity in the global entertainment business.’ The GenerAItion Gold Award will specifically honor a person, show, or company demonstrating leadership in ethical, creative, and groundbreaking uses of AI in production.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on the evening of Thursday, December 4, 2025, serving as the capstone event for the AI Festival, which runs concurrently with Content London. The timeline for submissions is set with entries opening on July 30, 2025, and closing on September 24, 2025. Following the submission period, a digital finalists preview season will be showcased on C21Media.net from October 1 to October 27, 2025.
