This declaration was made during the Artificial Intelligence Governance Symposium, hosted in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei.
Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, the permanent secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, highlighted the symposium’s role as a vital forum. He stated that the event facilitated “open discussions and collaboration among government organizations, the private sector, academia, and civil society in shaping the responsible use of AI in Brunei.”
