Beyond the conversational builder, Botsify has also introduced a new integration layer powered by the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This advanced protocol replaces older native or custom API integrations, enabling seamless connectivity with over 5,000 prebuilt MCP-enabled services. Furthermore, MCP empowers developers to define their own integration points, facilitating the integration of internal tools or proprietary data systems without requiring custom engineering.
The update also enhances the creation of agents that draw upon external knowledge sources, both static and dynamic. Users can now easily upload PDFs or link to live websites, and the AI agent will automatically leverage this information to provide contextually relevant responses to user queries, eliminating the need for additional training or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) setup.
