Bentley Systems Celebrates Infrastructure Innovation with 2025 Going Digital Awards

AMSTERDAM – Bentley Systems, Incorporated (Nasdaq: BSY), a leading infrastructure engineering software company, officially unveiled the recipients of its prestigious 2025 Going Digital Awards on October 17, 2025. The announcement took place following the company’s annual Year in Infrastructure 2025 conference, held from October 15-16 in Amsterdam.

The Going Digital Awards program is designed to honor infrastructure professionals globally for their exceptional work and their innovative utilization of Bentley’s software solutions to improve the design, construction, and operation of infrastructure projects. This year’s awards saw a remarkable participation, with nearly 250 projects nominated by organizations spanning 47 countries, underscoring the global impact and reach of digital innovation in the infrastructure sector.

Winners were meticulously selected across 12 distinct categories by an independent panel of expert judges. These projects demonstrated significant advancements in various fields, showcasing how digital transformation is shaping the future of infrastructure.

Chris Bradshaw, chief sustainability and education officer at Bentley Systems, extended his congratulations to the winners, stating, “These groundbreaking projects demonstrate how leading infrastructure engineering and construction companies, together with innovative owner-operators, are harnessing digital advancements—from connected data to AI—to transform project delivery and elevate asset performance. Your achievements are setting the standard for resilience, sustainability, and impact across infrastructure sectors.” This quote highlights the company’s recognition of artificial intelligence as a key driver in modern infrastructure development.

Beyond the main category awards, Bentley Systems also presented several special recognitions. Eighteen projects received Founders’ Honors, chosen by Bentley’s founders for their exemplary contributions to advancing global infrastructure for a better quality of life. The Bentley-Envision Award for Sustainable Infrastructure was bestowed upon GeoStruXer from Saudi Arabia for their ‘Seismic Rehabilitation of Creeping Ground using Sustainable Micropiled PTRaft,’ acknowledging projects that deliver exceptional environmental and social impact. Additionally, Irfaan Peerun of Griffith University, Australia, was honored as the 2025 Bentley Educator of the Year for his outstanding contributions to infrastructure education.

Notable winners across various categories included:

Bridges and Tunnels: Italferr S.p.A. (Italy) for ‘Leveraging Digital Technologies for Improved Infrastructure Management.’

Cities, Campuses, and Facilities: Voyants Solutions Private Ltd. (India) for ‘Preparation of Masterplan, Detailed Design and Project Management of Atal Puram Township, Agra, India.’

Construction: Deloitte and Vale (Brazil) for ‘SYNCHRO 4D Powering the World’s First Iron Ore Briquetting Plant.’

Energy Production: Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group Co., Ltd. (China) for ‘Digital Intelligent Construction Project for a Steel Plant Based on Bentley Technology.’
