TLDR: Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched Quick Suite, a new agentic AI platform designed to automate business workflows, centralize research, and enhance business intelligence for enterprise users. The platform integrates existing AWS services like Amazon Q Business and QuickSight, offering a comprehensive solution for tasks ranging from data analysis to complex process automation, and is priced competitively against rivals like Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini Enterprise.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) officially launched its new agentic AI platform, Quick Suite, on October 9, 2025, marking a significant step in the evolution of enterprise automation. This innovative platform is engineered to act as a “virtual teammate” for business users, streamlining complex workflows, centralizing research, and providing advanced business intelligence capabilities.
Quick Suite integrates and expands upon existing AWS services, notably combining features from Amazon Q Business and Amazon QuickSight. Existing QuickSight customers will be seamlessly upgraded to the new suite. The platform’s core objective is to empower enterprise users, regardless of their technical expertise, to make faster and more informed decisions by leveraging generative AI.
“Working with an AI agent is now as simple as chatting with a teammate,” stated Swami Sivasubramanian, Vice President of AWS agentic AI. “Make a request, ask a question, or automate a task. Quick works with you to help you go from insight directly to action.” Charlie Cartwright, Product Director for Quick Suite, further elaborated that the platform is “basically a combination of its AI-powered business intelligence tool Amazon QuickSight and its Amazon Q generative AI assistant,” emphasizing its ability to unify disparate data sources for a comprehensive view.
The platform boasts a robust set of capabilities, including the ability to analyze data using natural language prompts, scour both internal and external information sources, and automate processes through dedicated modules like Quick Flows and Quick Automate. Quick Research, another key feature, enables users to conduct deep dives into data, web resources, and company knowledge to generate comprehensive, verified reports on various topics, from business strategy to market analysis. Users can also create custom AI agents tailored to specific aspects of their work.
Connectivity is a cornerstone of Quick Suite, offering over 50 built-in connectors and supporting more than 1,000 applications through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and OpenAPI. This extensive integration allows the platform to connect with popular enterprise tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Slack, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, SharePoint, Snowflake, Google Drive, Atlassian, Asana, Box, and Canva. The platform also includes a UI Agent within Quick Automate and Quick Flows, facilitating interaction across websites and business applications.
AWS is positioning Quick Suite as a direct competitor to other leading enterprise AI solutions, including Microsoft’s Copilot and Google’s Gemini Enterprise. Notably, Quick Suite is priced at $20 per user per month, offering a competitive edge against its rivals, which are typically priced around $30 per user per month. This aggressive pricing strategy, coupled with deep integration into the AWS ecosystem and a strong emphasis on data privacy, is expected to intensify competition in the burgeoning agentic AI market.
Security and data governance are paramount, with AWS ensuring that Quick Suite operates entirely within a company’s AWS environment. This means enterprise data remains within the organization’s secure cloud boundary, leveraging AWS’s identity management and access controls for granular permissions and auditability. John Brock, Head of Product, Apps and Automation AWS Agentic AI, highlighted this by saying, “At a high level, we’re empowering every business user regardless of technical skill and experience with generative AI to make better decisions faster.”
The launch of Quick Suite aligns with a broader industry trend where hyperscalers are increasingly deploying agentic AI products. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy noted in July during the Q2 2025 earnings call that it’s “still early days for agentic AI,” indicating the significant growth potential in this sector. However, challenges remain in enterprise adoption, as Gartner Senior Director Analyst Joe Mariano pointed out, with only 18% of employees feeling their organization is effective at integrating generative AI tools into daily workflows. Mariano advises leaders to focus on end-users, assessing their understanding of AI and incentivizing its use to enhance productivity.
