SAN FRANCISCO – Asana (NYSE: ASAN) (LTSE: ASAN), a prominent work management platform, has officially announced its inclusion in Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) new AI Agents and Tools storefront within the AWS Marketplace. This significant development, effective July 16, 2025, positions Asana’s AI-powered capabilities directly within a centralized catalog designed for hundreds of AI solutions from trusted AWS Partners.
The integration is set to revolutionize how AWS customers access and deploy Asana, enabling them to streamline procurement processes and accelerate the development of AI agents and agentic workflows. By leveraging their existing AWS accounts, customers can now easily discover, buy, and deploy Asana, maintaining full visibility and control over licensing, payments, and access.
Eron Sunando, Head of Global Channel & Alliances at Asana, emphasized the benefits of this collaboration, stating, “By offering Asana through the AWS Marketplace AI Agents and Tools storefront, we’re providing customers with a streamlined way to access our platform’s AI solutions, including AI Studio, a no-code builder for designing AI workflows.” Sunando added that teams can quickly utilize pre-built workflows or customize AI workflows to meet specific requirements, fostering seamless human-AI coordination for significant productivity gains and allowing focus on higher-value, strategic work.
Asana’s platform is designed for human + AI coordination, with its AI capabilities handling project coordination and orchestrating work across critical workflows, from intake to planning, execution, and reporting. The sophistication of Asana’s AI relies on its proprietary Work Graph® technology, which captures the critical context and historical relationships between all work within an organization—detailing who is doing what work, by when, how, and why. As a SaaS solution in the marketplace, Asana supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for streamlined agent communication, allowing AI agents to securely access rich work data, including projects and tasks, across AWS services.
This strategic move is expected to fuel enterprise AI growth and revenue upside for Asana, capitalizing on the estimated $20 billion AI workflow tools market. Asana, with a market capitalization of $3.32 billion and impressive gross profit margins of 89%, currently serves over 170,000 customers globally, including major enterprises like Accenture, Amazon, and Suzuki.
The announcement also comes amidst other significant corporate developments for Asana.
