The new hubs will complement Anthropic’s existing European footprint, which includes EMEA headquarters in Dublin and offices in London and Zurich. Globally, the company has also recently established offices in Tokyo, Seoul, and Bengaluru, underscoring its ambitious worldwide growth trajectory. Europe has emerged as Anthropic’s fastest-growing region, with run-rate revenue increasing more than ninefold in the past year, although specific figures were not disclosed. The company also plans to triple its international workforce in 2025, with approximately 200 employees already based across Europe.
Paris and Munich were strategically chosen for their vibrant tech ecosystems and access to top-tier AI researchers and engineers. According to Anthropic, both Germany and France rank among the top 20 global users of Claude per capita. To support this expansion and strengthen its regional leadership, Anthropic has made several key personnel appointments. Guillaume Princen, who joined earlier this year as Head of EMEA, has been appointed EMEA Head of Startups, Mid-Market, and Digital Native Businesses. Thomas Remy, a former Google executive, will lead EMEA South, while Pip White, previously an HP executive, will head the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe operations.
