AI-specific skills, such as generative AI modeling and AI data annotation, have grown by up to 220% annually, according to Upwork’s 2025 In-Demand Skills report. PwC’s ‘2025 Global AI Jobs Barometer’ further highlights this acceleration, noting that skills for AI-exposed jobs are changing 66% faster than for other jobs—more than 2.5 times faster than the previous year.
