TLDR: Sumble has officially launched from stealth with $38.5 million in Seed and Series A funding to expand its AI-powered go-to-market intelligence platform. The platform provides sales teams with deep, contextual data on prospective customers by leveraging a living knowledge graph and large language models, aiming to transform sales prospecting and efficiency.
San Francisco, CA – October 22, 2025 – Sumble Inc., an innovative startup co-founded by Kaggle creators Anthony Goldbloom and Ben Hamner, today announced its emergence from stealth mode, backed by a substantial $38.5 million in Seed and Series A funding. This significant investment, comprising an $8.5 million seed round led by Coatue and a $30 million Series A led by Canaan Partners, underscores strong investor confidence in Sumble’s vision to redefine sales intelligence.
The funding round saw participation from a diverse group of prominent investors, including Square Peg Capital, Zetta Venture Partners, Bloomberg Beta, AIX Ventures, and notable angel investors such as Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff and former GitHub CEO Nat Friedman.
Sumble’s core offering is an AI-powered go-to-market (GTM) intelligence platform designed to equip sales teams with comprehensive, contextual data on potential customers. Unlike traditional tools that often provide static or fragmented information, Sumble aggregates and analyzes vast amounts of public web signals—including job postings, social media activity, and company websites—to construct a ‘living knowledge graph’. This dynamic approach aims to deliver deeper context rather than merely more data.
Central to the platform is its ‘account intelligence’ feature, which provides a detailed view of target companies. This includes insights into the technologies they utilize, active hiring initiatives, ongoing projects, and key decision-makers. Underpinning this capability is a sophisticated architecture that combines a knowledge graph with large-language-model (LLM) infrastructure, enabling the platform to link discrete signals into coherent, actionable narratives.
Sumble’s platform allows GTM teams to pose complex questions, such as “Which companies just started hiring for generative AI roles and are migrating off legacy systems?” or “Which organizations have reorganized their decision-making leadership in the last quarter?” This capability empowers sales professionals to identify opportune moments for engagement, whether it’s a frontend migration, a new GenAI initiative, or a significant executive hire.
Early adopters have already experienced the platform’s impact. Sumble boasts 17 enterprise customers, including industry leaders like Snowflake, Figma, Wiz, Vercel, Elastic, Atlan, Wandb, Omni, Snyk, and Dataiku, serving tens of thousands of users. Elliott Straube, a Go To Market Strategy Manager at Figma, noted, “Sumble goes deeper than other GTM data vendors, they help us zero in on the designers who matter most to us (UX and visual) and filter out the ones who don’t.” Jesse Sladek, VP, Sales Strategy and Enablement at Elastic, added, “Sumble helps the field find the most relevant signals aligned to our sales motions, increasing our conversion rates.”
Rich Boyle, General Partner at Canaan Partners, emphasized the importance of data quality in the AI era: “In a world of LLMs, context is everything. You can’t get meaningful AI-powered GTM outreach without a clean, accurate, and actionable data foundation. Sumble is building that foundation.” Avishek Roy, founding Account Executive at Sumble, echoed this sentiment, stating, “automation only works if it’s anchored in truly actionable signals.” Akash Gajjar, an early engineer at Sumble, highlighted the scale of their operations, mentioning that their crawlers parse a range of company-related pages daily, with AI models then extracting critical signals.

Since its soft launch in April 2024, Sumble has demonstrated significant traction, reporting a 550% year-over-year revenue increase. Anthony Goldbloom noted the platform’s viral adoption within companies, often spreading from a single user to hundreds of monthly active users within six months. The platform is accessible via a web application and an API, designed to integrate seamlessly with existing customer relationship management (CRM) and workflow tools, allowing users to search organizations, teams, people, job posts, and trends, and then take actions like enriching lists or setting up alerts.
