TLDR: Confido Health has successfully raised $10 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $13 million. This investment, led by Blume Ventures with participation from other new and existing investors, will fuel the expansion of its AI-powered voice agent platform. The company aims to revolutionize patient communication in healthcare by moving beyond basic scheduling to handle a wide array of patient inquiries, thereby addressing staff shortages and improving patient access.
New York, NY – September 30, 2025 – Confido Health, a pioneer in AI-powered voice agents for the healthcare sector, today announced the successful closure of a $10 million Series A funding round. This latest investment elevates the company’s total funding to $13 million, underscoring strong investor confidence in its innovative approach to patient communication. The round was spearheaded by Blume Ventures, with significant contributions from new investors including Schema Ventures and Vicus Ventures, alongside continued support from existing backers such as Together Fund, DeVC, and Medmountain Ventures. Strategic healthcare operators from Innovaccer and Memora Health, as well as several Confido customers, also participated.
The funding arrives at a critical juncture for the healthcare industry, which continues to grapple with overwhelming patient call volumes and persistent staffing shortages. Despite technological advancements, a staggering 81% of patients still rely on phone calls to connect with their healthcare providers, often encountering frustrating hold times, complex phone menus, or lengthy waits for callbacks. This inefficiency contributes to patient dissatisfaction and exacerbates staff burnout.
Confido Health’s platform is engineered to dismantle the traditional phone tree model. Its AI voice agents are designed to answer calls instantly, authenticate callers, verify eligibility, and intelligently resolve a broad spectrum of patient requests. This includes managing referrals, prescription refills, new patient intakes, payment processing, status updates, and appointment bookings. For intricate or sensitive cases requiring human intervention, the system facilitates a seamless ‘warm-transfer’ to staff, ensuring continuity of care. Crucially, every interaction is meticulously documented and integrated back into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Practice Management System (PMS).
“We are very excited to lead this investment round and see a clear path to Confido becoming the market leader in this space, driven by a patient-first product ethos and close partnership with the provider ecosystem,” stated a representative from Blume Ventures. This sentiment highlights the platform’s potential to significantly improve the current landscape where less than half of patient calls are resolved on the first attempt.

The urgency for such solutions is amplified by the deep financial pressures facing healthcare providers, as noted by the American Hospital Association, which strain their capacity to offer 24/7 access. Confido Health distinguishes itself by offering comprehensive workflow management beyond mere scheduling, positioning itself as a singular point of contact for patient access and delivering a robust return on investment for providers. The company has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its reach tenfold in the past eight months, now providing round-the-clock access to over 1 million patients, a substantial increase from 150,000 in December 2024.
