Hong Doo-sun, CEO of Korea Evaluation Data (KODATA), who won the Achievement Award at the “12th Korea Big Data AI Award,” declared the transition to artificial intelligence (AI) for the first time in the CB (Credit Evaluation) industry since taking office in July last year. Although he has been conducting corporate database sales, credit and technology evaluation for 20 years, he believes that he needs to go one step further from the existing credit information business for sustainable growth in the rapidly changing future. CEO Hong formed a task force for AI conversion in-house and prepared a sketch, and then established an AI conversion room directly under the CEO. The transition room performs planning, development, and operation on a one-stop basis and executes a step-by-step roadmap. CEO Hong presides over the ‘AI Innovation Strategy Meeting’ every month and selects ‘AI Innovation Leaders’ from 35 departments to run the ‘AI Leaders Club’ to strengthen in-house AI literacy. The transition goal is â–³Efficiency of internal work â–³Improvement of existing service value â–³Development of new services. Accordingly, the company opened an “AI Portal” in the first half of this year and combined corporate DB and AI technology to provide functions such as chatbot, report writing support, and industry code extraction.
The report-writing service that utilizes external Generative AI in the internal system has been designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission. In addition to this, the ‘Growth Potential Service (KOGPS)’, which discovers companies with high growth potential, is being advanced through AI-based corporate value analysis and new industry and supply network analysis.
CEO Hong said, “We will use the rapidly changing trend of the financial industry as a growth opportunity. We will create a company that opens a sustainable future by utilizing new technologies such as AI.”
