Google has officially launched its latest AI Accelerator Programme, welcoming a cohort of 20 innovative Indian startups. The program, which commenced in September 2025 and will run through December, is designed to nurture early-stage companies (Seed to Series A) that are at the forefront of building core AI products, applications, or foundational models. This initiative underscores Google’s commitment to fostering technological advancement and entrepreneurship within India’s rapidly expanding AI landscape.
The three-month, equity-free accelerator offers a comprehensive suite of support, including expert mentorship, technical guidance across critical domains such as AI (including Generative AI), Cloud, Android, Web, Product, Design Leadership, and Growth. Participants will benefit from a hybrid model comprising virtual and in-person sessions, beginning with an intensive one-week in-person bootcamp. Each startup is also paired with a dedicated Startup Success Manager from Google to maximize their access to Google’s vast resources, network, and thought leadership. The program culminates in an in-person Demo Day, where graduating startups will showcase their progress to Google teams, mentors, venture capitalists, and other key stakeholders in the Indian startup ecosystem, with continued engagement through an alumni network.
The selected startups are focused on leveraging advanced technologies like machine learning and AI, with a particular emphasis on core AI products or unique generative AI applications that have potential Google AI use cases. The program aims to help these companies overcome common startup challenges, such as scaling operations, accessing markets, and navigating rapid technological changes, ultimately positioning them to compete on a global stage.
