Ricoh Asia Pacific and Microsoft Partner to Advance Workforce AI Capabilities

TOKYO, August 18, 2025 – Ricoh Asia Pacific has announced a significant collaboration with Microsoft to empower its workforce with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities through the launch of ‘AI Learning Week 2025.’ This internal, region-wide initiative, co-sponsored by Microsoft and Talogy, a prominent talent management solution provider, is set to run from August 18 to August 22, 2025. The program aims to engage over a thousand employees across Ricoh’s Asia Pacific operations, offering hands-on sessions, leadership panels, and solution showcases.

The core objective of AI Learning Week is to equip Ricoh employees with practical AI skills, accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Copilot, facilitate the use of custom AI agents, and solidify Ricoh’s position as a leader in shaping the future of work through responsible and applied artificial intelligence. Ricoh believes that fostering AI fluency among its employees is crucial for delivering sustained value to customers and deepening strategic technology partnerships.

Kei Uesugi, Regional Director of Ricoh Asia Pacific, emphasized the strategic importance of the initiative, stating, ‘AI Learning Week isn’t just about upskilling—it’s about readiness. By investing in our people and working alongside Microsoft, we are building the internal strength required to lead AI transformation across the region.’
