TLDR: Artificial Intelligence is fundamentally reshaping B2B marketing, moving beyond traditional logic to incorporate emotional connection and human storytelling. Leaders from LinkedIn and Sprinklr highlight the critical need to combine trustworthy data with human creativity and AI to achieve hyper-personalization and efficiency. This shift is blurring the lines between B2B and B2C, with AI serving as a significant accelerator for content creation, targeting, and ROI, evidenced by high adoption rates among Indian B2B marketers.
The landscape of B2B marketing is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the integration of Artificial Intelligence. This evolution is shifting the focus from purely rational, product-centric approaches to strategies that prioritize trust, emotional connection, and compelling human stories. Industry experts, including leaders from LinkedIn and Sprinklr, emphasize that successful B2B marketing now demands a blend of data-driven insights, human creativity, and AI capabilities.
According to Sachin Sharma, LinkedIn’s Head of Marketing Solutions for India, this change represents a “massive change, truly an inflection point – comparable to the introduction of personal computers or the internet.” He stresses the importance of a foundational “trustworthy data layer, paired with human creativity, and only then layered with AI” to fully unlock AI’s potential.
Similarly, Arun Pattabhiraman, Sprinklr’s Vice President of Marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan, asserts that “AI is no longer a novelty; it’s a necessity.” He highlights that today’s B2B buyers expect hyper-personalized, always-on experiences that traditional marketing methods struggle to deliver. AI, he notes, is empowering B2B marketers to achieve “new levels of speed, creativity, and productivity.”
A key trend identified is the blurring of traditional boundaries between B2B and B2C marketing. B2B buyers are increasingly seeking the same emotional and personalized experiences found in consumer spaces. Sharma points out that it’s about “building collective confidence in a group decision-making environment,” which necessitates more human-centric storytelling. Pattabhiraman adds, “At the end of the day, buyers are human beings. They respond to emotion.” His team, for instance, leverages AI to instantly personalize responses to thousands of inbound leads, leading to improvements in both customer experience (CX) and conversion rates.

Data supports the rapid adoption and positive impact of AI in the sector. LinkedIn research indicates that three out of four B2B marketers in India have already embraced generative AI tools. This adoption has resulted in faster content creation and more effective campaign targeting. Furthermore, a significant majority, up to 90% of B2B marketers, believe that AI will substantially boost their return on investment (ROI). AI is thus viewed not as an optional add-on, but as a crucial accelerator for modern B2B marketing strategies.
