RealPage Introduces Lumina AI Workforce, Revolutionizing Multifamily Real Estate at RealWorld 2025

TLDR: RealPage unveiled its groundbreaking Lumina AI Workforce at RealWorld 2025, an agentic AI platform designed to transform the multifamily real estate sector. This innovative system, comprising five specialized AI agents, aims to significantly enhance resident experiences, boost operational efficiency, and foster scalable growth by integrating intelligent automation with human collaboration.

LAS VEGAS & RICHARDSON, Texas – RealPage®, a global leader in AI-enabled software platforms for the real estate industry, made a significant announcement this week at RealWorld 2025, its premier event for multifamily innovation and leadership. The company officially unveiled the Lumina AI Workforce, marking a pivotal moment for the industry with the introduction of its first agentic AI platform.

Attracting nearly 1,500 industry professionals, RealWorld 2025 served as the stage for RealPage to present a future where intelligent automation and human collaboration seamlessly converge. The Lumina AI Workforce is designed to elevate resident experiences, improve operational efficiency, and drive scalable growth across the multifamily sector. This platform represents a decisive shift from fragmented tools and task-based automation towards an orchestrated network of intelligent agents that can act, learn, and collaborate across various multifamily domains.

Dana Jones, RealPage CEO and President, emphasized the human-centric vision behind this innovation, stating, “AI’s real promise lies in how it reshapes the human experience of work. It’s about removing daily barriers, reducing burnout, and giving teams the bandwidth to show up with energy and purpose to focus on what matters most – delivering exceptional experiences for their residents.”

The Lumina AI Workforce is comprised of five specialized AI agents, each tailored to a core multifamily function, yet built to collaborate for comprehensive results:

AI Leasing Agent: Engages with prospective residents, answers inquiries, and guides them through the leasing process from initial contact to signed agreement.

AI Resident Agent: Keeps residents informed, engaged, and supported, contributing to increased satisfaction and retention.

AI Operations Agent: Manages routine tasks such as move-ins, renewals, audits, and reporting.

AI Facilities Agent: Facilitates rapid response to maintenance requests and coordinates inspections and repairs.

AI Financial Agent: Automates invoice coding, reconciliation, error identification, and report generation.

These agents are deeply integrated into RealPage’s existing core platforms, including OneSite, Knock, and LOFT, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Attendees at RealWorld 2025’s RealExpo innovation showroom experienced immersive demonstrations and hands-on interactions, showcasing the transformative power of AI collaboration.

The foundation of the Lumina AI Workforce is the Lumina AI Data Platform, a multi-year investment by RealPage in secure, scalable, and deeply integrated AI infrastructure. This robust platform ensures that AI is not merely an add-on but a core capability embedded throughout the RealPage ecosystem.

A roundtable discussion between RealPage and OpenAI, moderated by Emmy Award-winning journalist David Pogue, highlighted a shared commitment to responsible AI, focusing on affordability, accessibility, and regulatory compliance. Lance French, RealPage CIO, underscored this commitment: “AI must be built on trust. We have embedded security, governance, and compliance into every layer of the Lumina AI Data Platform from its inception, ensuring data protection and operational reliability.”
