Chatterjee, a mechanical engineering graduate from Jadavpur University, boasts an impressive career spanning over three decades in the IT industry. His extensive experience includes spearheading multi-billion-dollar transformations and strategic growth initiatives for Fortune 500 clients. Notably, he served as CEO and Managing Director of Mindtree from 2019, where he orchestrated its strategic merger with LTI in 2022, forming LTIMindtree, India’s sixth-largest IT services company. Prior to this, Chatterjee spent over two decades at Cognizant, holding senior executive roles such as President of Digital Systems & Technology and Head of Global Delivery, where he was instrumental in developing the Banking & Financial Services vertical and expanding Cognizant’s presence in key Indian cities like Kolkata, Pune, and Mumbai. He began his IT career at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
Ascendion, headquartered in New Jersey, is an IT company with approximately 6,000 global employees, including 2,000 based in India across Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The firm has been consistently expanding its operations in India and plans to increase its headcount while integrating AI-driven development models to fuel its growth.
