SK AX announced on August 5, 2025, its strategic partnership with SBI Savings Bank to undertake an ‘Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX) Based Information Technology (IT) System Integration Maintenance Project.’ This significant collaboration will see SK AX responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of SBI Savings Bank’s IT systems for a period of three years, commencing this year and extending until 2028.
The core of this ambitious project lies in the widespread application of generative AI and advanced operational automation technologies across the entire IT maintenance process. A key integration is the deployment of ‘AI Meeting Minutes,’ a generative AI-based solution developed by SK Telecom. This innovative tool will be incorporated into SBI Savings Bank’s operational systems to automatically organize and share meeting content, streamlining communications that frequently occur between clients, operators, partners, and vendors. This is expected to significantly boost efficiency in what are often cumbersome and repetitive communication tasks within operational management.
Furthermore, SK AX will leverage its extensive experience in generative AI operational technology to assist SBI Savings Bank in establishing its own AI-based failure analysis system. This development is anticipated to not only accelerate the speed of IT system failure response but also play a crucial role in preventing the recurrence of issues, thereby enhancing system stability and reliability.

In addition, the project will see the implementation of SK AX’s proprietary application programming interface (API) test automation solution, ‘aTworks.’ This solution is designed to automate API testing for data linkages across disparate systems, boasting an impressive capability of testing up to 100,000 cases per hour. ‘aTworks’ also supports TCP/IP-based specialized message testing, a critical feature for the financial sector.
