TURIN, Italy – Reply, a leading international group specializing in AI and Digital Media, has officially announced the ten finalists for the second edition of its groundbreaking AI Film Festival. This international competition serves as a unique bridge between the worlds of cinema and artificial intelligence, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and creative production.

The festival, which follows a successful inaugural edition in 2024, invited creatives globally to submit short films produced using new technologies and AI tools. This year’s competition saw an impressive response, with over 2,500 submissions pouring in from 67 countries, highlighting the burgeoning interest in AI-driven cinematic innovation.

The ten selected finalists were lauded for their compelling interpretation of this edition’s theme, ‘Generation of Emotions.’ Their works exemplify how artificial intelligence can be harnessed to craft authentic, emotionally resonant, and engaging experiences through cinematic language.

Filippo Rizzante, CTO of Reply, commented on the caliber of the submissions, stating, “What stands out in all the short films from this second edition is a significant leap in quality — not only in the use of AI technologies, but in the ability to apply them to craft engaging, original, and emotionally resonant narratives. The finalists’ work demonstrates how artificial intelligence can become a mature creative tool, serving those who are able to imagine new languages and forms of expression.”

The winners of the Reply AI Film Festival will be announced at a prestigious ceremony on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in Venice. This event will take place at the Mastercard Priceless Lounge, Hotel Excelsior, Lido of Venice, coinciding with the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.
