San Francisco, CA – Vanta, the prominent AI-powered trust management platform, announced today the successful completion of its Series D funding round, securing $150 million. This latest investment propels the company’s valuation to an impressive $4.15 billion, a significant increase from its $2.45 billion valuation just a year ago. The round was spearheaded by new investor Wellington Management, with robust participation from existing investors including Sequoia, Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, J.P. Morgan, Atlassian Ventures, and CrowdStrike Ventures.

This new funding brings Vanta’s total capital raised to approximately $504 million since 2021. The company has indicated that the funds will be primarily allocated to accelerating its AI innovation initiatives and expanding into new critical areas such as third-party risk management and government compliance.

Christina Cacioppo, CEO of Vanta, articulated the company’s foundational vision and future aspirations, stating, “We started Vanta with a simple belief: if we made it easier to share trust between businesses, all companies could grow faster and more securely.” She further emphasized the strategic importance of the new capital, adding, “Today, we’re helping businesses earn and prove trust—enabling over 12,000 companies to scale security and GRC the way they scale software. With this new funding, we’ll accelerate Vanta’s AI innovation and expansion into new areas like third-party risk and government compliance—solving more of the real, day-to-day challenges our customers face.”
