In a significant stride towards positioning India at the forefront of life sciences and healthcare innovation, Agilisium, a prominent autonomous Agentic AI partner to the life sciences industry, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chennai-based Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). This landmark agreement, formalized on July 21, 2025, paves the way for the establishment of India’s first Agentic AI-Powered Digital Health & Research Centre.
The newly formed Centre is dedicated to advancing scientific research, enhancing healthcare delivery, and fostering academic excellence through the strategic application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI). It is envisioned as a collaborative hub designed to drive breakthroughs in critical areas such as precision medicine, digital diagnostics, and data-driven clinical research.
The partnership leverages Agilisium’s profound expertise in AI-driven solutions, including advanced analytics, data science, biostatistics, GenAI, and autonomous Agentic AI. Complementing this, SRIHER contributes its extensive clinical and academic leadership, providing access to rich clinical datasets, specialized domain experts, and state-of-the-art medical facilities and expertise.
Together, the collaborators aim to develop next-generation diagnostic tools, intelligent decision-support systems, and interoperable health data frameworks. This initiative is poised to elevate India’s standing as a global leader in future-ready digital healthcare. A primary focus of the partnership will be the co-development and publication of high-impact scientific research, encompassing AI-powered clinical trials, predictive diagnostics, and personalized medicine, thereby significantly raising the bar for healthcare and life sciences R&D in India.
Furthermore, the collaboration seeks to address the escalating demand for intelligent and scalable patient care tools. This includes the development of AI-powered chatbots and GenAI-enabled virtual assistants designed to support clinicians, patients, and caregivers with real-time diagnostics and information. The partnership will also explore joint workshops, seminars, conferences, and CSR-driven research funding to support socially relevant healthcare innovations.
