TLDR: Hospitality tech startup Inntelo AI has successfully raised over £500,000 (approximately €800,000) in pre-seed funding. This investment will accelerate the scaling of its AI-powered Concierge platform, designed to enhance guest experiences and streamline hotel operations by merging guest interaction with internal team coordination through conversational and agentic AI. The platform is already being adopted by major hotel brands like Radisson and Wyndham.
London-based hospitality technology firm Inntelo AI has announced the successful closure of a pre-seed funding round, securing over £500,000, with some reports specifying £506,000. This significant investment, equivalent to approximately €800,000, is earmarked to fuel the commercial growth and expand the deployment of its innovative AI Concierge platform, which aims to empower smaller hotels to better compete with larger chains.
Co-founded in 2024 by CEO Asif Alidina and Shahzain Badruddin, Inntelo AI has developed a cutting-edge platform that seamlessly integrates guest communication with internal team coordination. The AI Concierge automates guest inquiries received via popular channels like WhatsApp or phone, eliminating the need for additional apps or downloads. These inquiries are then intelligently converted into actionable, coordinated tasks, improving the responsiveness of various hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and spa services. The system leverages both conversational and agentic AI to enhance service quality and operational efficiency, providing multilingual, 24/7 support.
Asif Alidina, Co-Founder and CEO of Inntelo AI, emphasized the importance of industry-led innovation, stating, “Hospitality’s AI transformation must be led from within the industry. Too often, hotels have struggled to adopt new technologies because they were developed without real operational insight.” He added, “We’re incredibly excited about this new era, where the hospitality sector can not only embrace technology earlier than ever before, but also lead the way for the wider real estate and service industries.”
The funding round was led by venture capital firm Haatch and its partner, British Business Bank, with additional participation from Look AI Ventures. Several angel investors, including former executives from prominent companies like Trip.com and DocuSign, also contributed to the round. This latest investment builds on an initial £120,000 venture capital backing secured from Antler at the company’s inception in 2024.
Fred Soneya, Co-Founder and General Partner at Haatch, expressed confidence in Inntelo AI, noting, “Inntelo AI has all the hallmarks we look for in a high-potential startup – deep sector knowledge, real operational insight, and a product solving a clear pain point in a large, global market.” Angelo Burgarello, Partner at Look AI Ventures, highlighted Inntelo’s unique ability to “bridge the gap between guest expectations and hotel staff operations, something most solutions address only partially.”
