Visakhapatnam, India – The coastal city of Visakhapatnam is poised to host a significant event in the artificial intelligence landscape: the Fusion AI Summit, scheduled for July 25 and 26, 2025. This two-day premier global platform is being organized by the Andhra Pradesh Digital Technology Industry (APDTI) Network, with crucial support from the state government and the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI). The summit will take place at the VMRDA Children’s Arena in Siripuram, under the overarching theme of ‘Turning AI Potential into Action.’
The event is designed to be a pivotal gathering for advancing AI innovation, bringing together a diverse group of Indian and global AI experts, technocrats, and leaders from top multinational corporations. High-profile attendees are expected to include State IT Minister Nara Lokesh and MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivasa. Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director for South Asia at NVIDIA, is slated to deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session, underscoring the summit’s importance in the global AI discourse.
According to Sreedhar Kosaraju, Chairman of the APDTI Network and convener of the APDTI Leadership Forum, the Fusion AI Summit marks a first-of-its-kind initiative in the region. He stated, ‘This summit will bring together a diverse group of Indian and global AI experts, technocrats, and leaders from top multinational corporations.’ The summit’s comprehensive agenda will delve into eight major segments of artificial intelligence: Agentic AI, Generative AI, Physical AI, AI on Cloud, Edge AI, Cross-sectoral AI, Decentralised AI, and Hyperautomation with AI.
Key objectives of the summit include promoting a robust AI ecosystem within Andhra Pradesh and strategically positioning the state among the top three AI hubs in India by 2030. This ambitious goal is expected to be achieved by developing a clear roadmap for deep tech and AI skilling in Andhra Pradesh and Vizag, attracting significant talent and investment, fostering crucial B2B networking opportunities, and enabling direct engagement with CXOs and senior executives from leading technology firms.
