AIC-BIMTECH and Google Collaborate to Empower Over 150 Startups with AI

TLDR: Atal Incubation Centre at BIMTECH (AIC-BIMTECH) recently hosted the ‘Google AI Day for Startups’ at its Greater Noida campus, bringing together more than 150 startups from across India. The event, a collaboration with Google for Startups, aimed to equip early-stage founders with the knowledge and tools to leverage Generative AI for building and scaling their businesses.

The Atal Incubation Centre at the Birla Institute of Management Technology (AIC-BIMTECH) became a hub of innovation as it hosted the ‘Google AI Day for Startups’. The event, held at the BIMTECH campus in Greater Noida, saw the participation of over 150 startups, founders, developers, investors, and Google engineers from all over the country. This initiative, part of a nationwide series by Google for Startups, was designed to empower early-stage entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary technical expertise, knowledge, and networking opportunities to build and scale their solutions using Generative AI.

The full-day workshop featured a variety of sessions, including immersive discussions on Generative AI, expert panels, and hands-on learning experiences. Participants had the opportunity to work with advanced AI tools such as Gemini 2.5, Gemma 3.0, Vertex AI, and AI Studio through codelabs and live demos, allowing them to prototype and validate their ideas in real-time.

A key highlight of the event was a panel discussion titled ‘AI’s Next Wave: Agents, Multimodal, and Monetization’. The panel featured prominent industry leaders including Mr. Alok Shankar Pandey, Group General Manager at DFCCIL; Amit Singal, Partner at Fluid Ventures; and Noor Fatma, Founder of Easiofy. Moderated by Mahesh Prajapati, Founder of BigDot.ai, the discussion emphasized the pivotal role of Indian startups in driving AI-led innovation for the next billion users.

Prabina Rajib, Director of BIMTECH, commented on the collaboration, stating, ‘Hosting Google AI Day at our campus reflects BIMTECH’s commitment to fostering innovation and driving meaningful engagement with the startup ecosystem. We are proud to facilitate the innovators through AIC BIMTECH’s initiative.’

Surya Kant, CEO of AIC-BIMTECH, also shared his enthusiasm, saying, ‘Startups are the backbone of our nation. I’ve been engaged with the Google team since 2023, and it’s an honor for AIC-BIMTECH to host this event.’ He further added, “AI is evolving beyond automation — it’s now about creating intelligent systems that can think, act, and even collaborate. For Indian startups, the opportunity lies in building contextual, scalable, and ethical AI solutions.”

The event underscored the collective vision of making India a global leader in ethical, scalable, and contextual AI innovations, aligning with the national goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).
