NEW YORK – Dataminr, a pioneer in real-time AI platforms, has announced the strategic appointment of Tiffany Buchanan as its new Chief Financial Officer. The move, effective June 26, 2025, signals Dataminr’s intensified focus on accelerating strategic growth and enhancing its readiness for public market opportunities, including a potential Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Buchanan brings over two decades of extensive experience in leading global organizations through transformative growth phases. During her time at CrowdStrike, Buchanan was instrumental in developing the company’s financial model from its pre-revenue stage through its growth to over $4 billion in annual recurring revenue. She played a pivotal role in strategic finance from Series A-1 funding to IPO, and post-IPO, she helped drive public-market execution, including high-performing quarterly reporting, guidance, multiple acquisition integrations, a combined $1.5 billion public debt offering and credit revolver, and a $1 billion share repurchase program. Her expertise also contributed to CrowdStrike’s inclusion in the S&P 500.

At Dataminr, Buchanan’s primary responsibilities will include scaling the company’s financial operations and bolstering its preparedness for future capital market opportunities.
