SEOUL, South Korea – Nota AI, a pioneering company in AI model compression and optimization technologies, officially listed on the KOSDAQ market as of November 2025. This significant milestone marks a new chapter for the company, enabling it to pursue aggressive global expansion and further develop its innovative AI solutions. NAVER D2SF, NAVER’s corporate venture capital arm, has been a steadfast supporter of Nota AI since its founding in 2015, providing continuous investment and backing for its growth.
The KOSDAQ listing underscores the robust growth potential of Nota AI’s unique AI lightweighting and optimization technologies. The company has established a strong technological foundation with its independently developed AI model optimization platform, ‘NetsPresso®,’ and its suite of on-device AI solutions. These technologies are gaining increasing global attention as they effectively mitigate the substantial adoption and operational costs associated with the proliferation of high-performance AI models.
Nota AI’s advancements in AI model optimization are being pursued through strategic collaborations with leading global industry players, including NVIDIA, Samsung Electronics, Qualcomm, Arm, and Sony. This technology is becoming an indispensable capability, particularly with the rapid expansion of Physical AI sectors such as autonomous driving and robotics. Further solidifying its industry standing, Nota AI was recognized by CB Insights as one of the ‘2025 Global Innovative AI Startups 100’.
Beyond its core optimization platform, Nota AI is actively broadening the application of AI across various industries. Its ‘Nota Vision Agent (NVA)’ is a video monitoring solution that integrates a generative AI-based Vision-Language Model (VLM) into on-device environments. This solution is being deployed in diverse sectors, including industrial safety, traffic control, selective surveillance, retail, and healthcare. For instance, Nota AI recently became the first Korean company to secure an NVA-based Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) solution supply contract with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), demonstrating both its technological prowess and global market potential.
Financially, Nota AI has shown impressive growth, with revenue more than doubling from approximately $2.52 million (3.6 billion won) in 2023 to approximately $5.89 million (8.4 billion won) in 2024. The company projects its revenue to reach approximately $10.17 million (14.5 billion won) in 2025, aiming for a fourfold increase in three years and targeting a turnaround to profitability by 2027. CEO Myung-su Chae emphasized the company’s unique position, stating, “Nota AI is the world’s first AI compression and optimization company to supply directly to semiconductor companies, which means our technology has been recognized as a core component of the hardware ecosystem, not just a software solution.”
