Privado.ai Unveils AI-Powered Agents for Streamlined Privacy Assessments and Comprehensive Data Mapping

TLDR: Privado.ai, a leading privacy compliance platform, has launched new AI agents and enhanced data mapping solutions to automate manual privacy assessments and create dynamic data maps, addressing the growing need for efficient privacy enforcement amidst increasing personal data sharing.

Privado.ai, a prominent player in modern privacy compliance, has announced significant advancements in its platform with the introduction of AI agents designed to revolutionize privacy assessments and data mapping. This strategic move aims to alleviate the manual burden on privacy teams, particularly in an era marked by heightened privacy enforcement and complex data sharing regulations.

The core of this new offering is Privado.ai’s ‘Agentic Assessment’ solution. These AI agents are engineered to analyze documentation and autonomously populate 100% of privacy assessments. This capability significantly reduces the time and effort traditionally required for these critical compliance tasks, allowing organizations to maintain accurate and up-to-date privacy records with unprecedented efficiency.

Beyond assessments, the company has also rolled out major updates to its data mapping solution. By combining existing capabilities to scan code, websites, and mobile applications with these new features, Privado.ai now offers complete data mapping automation across various processing activities and data sources. This means customers can automatically build a comprehensive inventory of personal data elements and third parties, generate detailed data flow diagrams for each data element, fully populate records of processing activities (ROPAs), and proactively flag potential privacy compliance risks – all without requiring any manual input.

Looking ahead, Privado.ai has outlined ambitious plans for further innovation. Later this year, the company intends to launch a ‘policy agent’ to identify inconsistencies between privacy policies and actual assessments. Additionally, an extension of the assessment agent will be introduced to conduct advanced risk analysis. The platform will also continue to expand its suite of third-party scanning integrations to encompass widely-used CRM, HR, marketing, procurement, and contract management tools, ensuring broader coverage and deeper insights into data flows.

Key enhancements to the Dynamic Data Map capabilities include ‘Runtime Software Scanning,’ which boosts Privado.ai’s privacy code scanning visibility by pinpointing all destinations for personal data elements processed by internally developed software. This ensures a holistic view of data movement and compliance posture within an organization’s digital ecosystem.
